win98:
So i went looking and found my windows 98 cd in the garage. after a brief install and then endless messing with drivers and irq's i got the silly thing booting correctly on my pc. Now with a running pc again, i am amazed that anyone ever called win98 a useable operating system. I thought os 9 was bad, my god this computer (im on it now) had to have the worst user interface and frequent crashes ever. seriously, and this is a polished version of 95. scary. it plays mp3' and music vids, and my mac can't run HL and it can, so there is something going for it i guess, but i can't wait till i get my hands on a copy of XP again. im almost tempted to go pay money for it there is such a difference.
