Call me a dog:
Ahhh 2nd period comes to a close. I cleaned up the lab a bit and tossed one of the spare 19' monitors in the truck. With a processor finally I need something that can run at 1600x1200. Exciting. After this period is over I have to actually go to school, and that is a horrible horrible thing, but not nearly as bad as I seem to feel it should be. Why is it that I am suddenly so opposed/worried about having to actually go to school now. Oh well. On another note the CPU Kyle and I got yesterday is a bit crazy. My mobo didn't recognize it as anything in particular on AUTO and so I had to manually set the multiplier. I didn't get it quite right and found that my CPU is quite overclockable. Normally I would never overclock a bit, but it seems to be running at 2.0 ghz (up from 1.73 stock) just fine and at temps much lower than my old 1000 did. I'm going to leave it running UT demos in loops this afternoon for an hour and see if it start getting into the high 40's. If so im going to go back, but right now it reports my CPU as a 2400+, which is great since those are twice as much as i paid for the blasted economy thing. I'm sure you all care so much. hahaa.
