Selena
:

I think you all need to see Hotel Rwanda.

not because it's an amazing movie.

but because as an american you should be ashamed of yourself for not doing more.

I didn't mean to make you feel bad, you should already feel guilty.

I'm a hypocrit.

What i am happy about, is that I am involved in a culture that seeks these places out and feeds and clothes them. I am happy that when I tithe (money to church) it goes straight to missionaries who have awesome hearts and that are helping people around the world. Of course some say its to save souls, but its mostly to show the love of christ, and the compassion of God. A wise christian knows that no man can change any other man. It says the holy spirit will draw them. So I guess what Im saying, is that our field experts aren't trying to convert...they are trying to love.

no worries, dear greg. I completely understand and I was expecting a lot of criticism from people. I'm more than happy to hear what you hav to say, otherwise I wouldn't have posted something so mean. haha i guess you could say I did it on purpose to see what you would say. this is something I'm currently very passionate about and it just hurts me to know that there aren't more people involved in this.

nice one greg. i can't really add anymore what you just said.

america has been doing quite a lot and because of that, many lives were changed for the better (i.e. the vietnamese that are free from communist rule).

Rowanda? More? What more do you or anyone else want? Pick up "A problem from hell" by samatha powers and read how lack of military support has indirectly led to genocide in three other countries. And guess who let the atrocites... happen...

a guy more worried about getting his shit off in an interns mouth. Clinton.

This is why i dont mind guys who invade countries of known genocidal leaders.

Everyone ignores the third world. Not because they are afraid, or because it costs too much. They dont care because they are more worried about themselves.

So the next time you worry about what president is in power, and base your judgement soely on how the guy seems to you...and his domestic policy.

Remember that one guy didn't give a shit about his reputation, to save a dying people. I dont care for whatever retort in regard to his intentions you may have, because it comes down to both of us deciding what they were. Just know, a evil man is gone, and a country is thankful.

Point being, were doing what we can, where we can.
