FP Games:
Prey: Screenshots - Looks to be one of the best uses of the Doom 3 engine yet. And made by the creators of Rune and produced by 3d Realms, maybe it will rock! F.E.A.R.: Screenshots - The most promising FPS that hasn't been released yet, if they pull it off i will love Monolith forver. Quake 4: Screenshots Another Doom3 based game, but it says QUAKE! It's based in the crappy Quake 2 universe, but I still hold out hope that Raven and iD will give us a good multiplayer game for this generation. Oh and just a note because people should know this: I didn't say the XBOX was backwards compatible for a reason. Microsoft just fudged things by saying "thier most popular titles would run" - meaning they are porting halo and halo 2 so the fanboys don't cry. If they don't port DOA Ultimate then they can die and ill just use my old Xbox. Bitches. Oh and also they cheat by buying an audience that will make them look good. New Super Mario Bros:
 Although the demo we played was short (too short), it looks like this is going to be one of the better games available for DS. On of the better games they say on Gamespy. ONE OF THE BETTER GAMES!?! Its a fricking new 2d Mario game by the original creator. What the hell people have been waiting for this for 15 years! Not that I have really, but damn one would think something that awesome would get more respect from people whose lives are supposed to be around covering games. E3: Day 1:
Ok so we are into the first day of E3 and the three big companies have all give thier Press Conferences. Microsoft: Here is the stream, dont know how long it will stay up.
Sony:
Sony also laid out the technical specs of the device. The PlayStation 3 will feature the much-vaunted Cell processor, which will run at 3.2 Ghz and feature 2.18 teraflops of performance. It will sport 256mb XDR main RAM at 3.2 Ghz, have 256MB of GDDR VRAM at 700mhz, a detachable 2.5 inch HDD slot, six usb 2.0 ports, Memory Stick Duo, a SD slot, a compact flash memory slot, Compact flash slot, 2 hdmi outputs, 1 av multi out, 1 SPDIF optical output, and 1-gigabit Ethernet built in port Ill get to the Revolution during class.
