Are there just not any actors in hollywood but Colin Farrel, Jack Black, and Tom Cruise to do everything? Additionally I know everybody is aware that comic book movies are the big thing and they keep buying them up; but wow... Spiderman 3, wolverine, Iron Man, Ghost Rider, NEW teenage mutant ninja turtle movie, fantastic four 2 (did that movie even do well?), watchmen, Sin City 2, etc. etc. I wish I had a remotely successful comic book cause I'm sure somebody would express remote interest in it. Summer:
So I haven't been posting much, but really nothing too exciting. I am working on Java code during the days now for a local shop and wasting away the days gaming at night. Since school got out I have beaten Gun, Geist and am halfway through Darkwatch now I think. I need to start making lunches so I don't get so hungry at work. Tomorrow I will be getting off around 4 or so and driving back home? If not then Thursday, and Ill be home till next Wednesday. I am not really a big fan of sitting around coding GUI windows all day, but I think it will get more exciting once I learn the program better and can work on more complicated things. 8 hour days are really a long time to sit in a desk, normally I wander about the house while coding if I am stuck, that doesn't really work when you just have a desk. Yes I know i've posted a lot lately, but I have a really nice complaint. SO monday and tuesday I was without power with my biggest essay of the quarter due on wednesday. hmmm:
I was musing over the idea of an online portfolio and the purchasing of my own address and whatnot... but I kinda got a good idea. Since we have a bunch of artists on this space including selena, kyle,tim, and myself... I though it would be rad to have a portifolio section. Also on reflecting on Bartleby the Scrivner by Melville, I had the idea of creating a creative center or small buisness of collected fine artists. To actually have one location for freelance artists (writers, inkers, photograph, graphic design) to be found. A literal building with a bunch of artists for hire.
