No Doubt Strange Things:
I am sure that this is old news, but you should watch this Gwen Stefani video, it takes a while to get to the actual music video part, but I think it has place in next to One Night in Bangkok. Just watch it and you will be entertained. Get it

Egypt and Ass-Pads:
Well, I have a psy paper due tomorrow, and guess what, I haven't started yet. At least I got most of my math HW done today, but I have yet to study for the quiz today. Oh well. While you are around the net check out this preivew of Children of the Nile, a new game being made by form Impressions employee's. Those are the people who made Ceasar and Pharaoh and such. *Cries for a bit about Sierra On-Line* As a final note, I have had to for a normal pillow into chair pad status because i left my normal one at home. It might seen pointless, but the improvment it makes in my computing is amazing.

GROK, I GROK WORK. (I find it strange that I follow a series of long posts with nothing but short bits of pointlessness.)

Van Hellsing and Linux Battles:
First off, VAN HELSING IS COMING ON TUES. There is going to be a grand ball, muhahahahahh. Second i have to eat my apple.....ok back What is really second is that last night after a binge of Magic playing I came home with a Linux CD in had and an innocent drive with Windows XP just sitting there. I inserted the cd, restarted, and so the second great battle of the Master Boot Record began. It's not that I can't get linux installed you see, I installed Fedora 2 times, Slackware 1 and Gentoo 1, it is that I cannot get the MBR to house a boot loader without killing the ability to boot windows, but then when I get windows to boot i lose the ability to boot to linux. At least that is normally the problem. What happened this time is that my poor battered boot sector held GRUB in its confines and didn't want to change again, it was done with all of this fuckery i was inflicting upon it. Fine I said to my MBR, YOU SHALL FEEL THE RATH OF FIXMBR FROM THE XP RECOVERY CONSOLE. Foolish me, for not even this could defeat the monster I had created. We had to return to the more manuel way of doing things, we BOOTED INTO DOS. Yes bitches, DOS came, fdisk od the M$ nature came and it slapped that linux boot loader shit right out of the MBR. GRUB was gone, but only ruin was left in its place. SUNSHINE NOR WINDOWS XP could brighten then burned hulk of my MBR as I retired for troubled sleep. I have foregone continuing the battle today in favor of attending classes, but tonight the stuggle shall continue!!!! In hind-sight, I think Bush could learn something from my Linux install tactics, something about fucking with a sleeping daemon and creating uncontrollible chaos. Or maybe I just didn't sleep enough last night, installed linux 4 times starting at 10pm is never a good idea.

Dancing King:
I am laying in my room listening to the rain and feeling rather lonely. I was just going to toss up a post in the morning but then I knew i would never get to it, so here I am. At least tonight I got to dance in a parking-lot with a burger king hat on and a plunger in my hand. It almost felt like I was home.

New Blogging Software:
I finally got the new blogging software up, as I am sure you can see by the changes around the site. More little things to come as I bring the site into some kind of order. Expect updates over the next few weeks to be rather frequent as well. Oh and the calander will have hyperlinked dates for whenever there is a post made so if you want to check a few days back then just click a day.

Law Dogs:
Proving that once you start you can't stop, here is another post, just telling youn all to go to http://dynamic6.gamespy.com/~lawdogs/usmarshals/index.php and check out the Law Dogs UT2004 mod. It is not Western Q3 yet, but it fills the void that has grown in my heart since Quake3 mods left the lan parties. Really though, we should go back to WQ3 and Urban Terror if Frag Ops doesn't fix itself in time for X-Mas.

Accounts:
Oh and yes, I forgot to mention the accounts i promised would be made for all the old members of the forums so they could post here on the main page. I have to upgrade my blogging software, which is a bunch of permissions hell since I have used the same install for 2 years, but that should happen in the next week or so.

Tests:
Oi I have two tests on monday and a big portion of my Software Engineering Project due tuesday. Sadly I have done almost no reading for my classes on monday so I have been trying to prepare as much as possible, but if a class is too boring to do the work for on a daily basis, its even harder to do it all in one big orgy of mental suffering. Anyway, it has shot down my dreams of getting the website redesigned this weekend, but thats ok because I don't know how much i really need to change anyway. Oh and if you see a new topic that you can't click on in the recent posts, its because there is now a private section for the game valere and I have begun, and I can't get the posting thing to filter posts in that section. Its not that I don't want people on the boards to read these posts, but a security layer to protect our source code and keep people from linking to the images i post online that aren't reflective of what the final game will have. Not that it matterr yet, there are thousands of failed little games out there, but I hope that someday it will be important to keep things under wraps so I am starting the team out acting like we have a commercial product.

Music:
Really, once you have the daikatana music, you don't need any other sound files on your computer. Why do I say this, well today on techtv they said that Lionhead studios needs to take down the hype on thier next game because Fable was hyped to such an extreme that it almost got a "romero" rating. I found it entertaining, specially when they had a gauge with his head on it. no disrespect to one of the coolest people in gaming. its all in good faith i promise. DAIKATANA FOREVER!!!!

Alt-Redux:
As part of just changing everything around, most of alt-dreams is going down in the next few days. The forums and mail will still be here, and I doubt that anyone really gives a crap about the rest of the site. If a new design is not forth-coming then I will toss up a place-holder so those of you that still stop by can get to things that need getting to. -Seth
